Glaser By Name... Glazier By Trade. Quality & Service Since 1921
Glaser Glass has specialized in custom frameless shower glass enclosures for over fifteen years.
When designing your new bathroom, give us a call. We offer custom enclosures made to your specifications. Size, color and glass patterns are completely custom. Just stop by or call in and a member of our design team will work with you from design to completion.
Our design team at Glaser Glass can provide you with custom sliders, doors and return panels, pivoting doors, neo-angle showers, header-less showers, steam showers and much more. If you’re looking for a standard enclosure or a semi frameless look, we carry brands such as Basco and Alumax.
Sound confusing? It can be. When customizing a frameless shower enclosure, many different factors come into play. Design, rough 2 x 4 framing, tile work, hinges, hardware, installation and glass all must work together to ensure a successful install. This is why it is so important to call us. We will work with your installation team through-out the entire process.
Two glass thicknesses are most common, 3/8 and ½ inch. All glass is tempered safety glass. Different types (patterns) of glass include: Clear, Bubble, Rain, Low Iron Acid Wash, Acid Wash on Clear, Pattern 62, Gray and Bronze tints.
Because glass is so porous, Glaser Glass offers different products to protect against hard water stains and soap scum from absorbing into the glass and from bacteria build up. ClearShield* is one option or upgrade to ShowerGuard* glass by Guardian. Read more about ClearShield and ShowerGuard below*
We also carry an extensive collection of CR Laurence hardware in various styles and colors. Some colors include Chrome, Brushed Nickel, Brass, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Satin Nickel, and many more. Hardware styles vary from rounded and beveled edges to square edges.
Need someone to install your glass? No worries. We work closely with our preferred service providers that will come out to your home and review your project from start to finish. Yes! They will measure your project, taking away any guesswork you may have. Each contractor is fully licensed and insured. Call us for more information. If you have your own contractor, a member of the design team will work with them to ensure a smooth install.
*What is ShowerGuard? Unlike spray-on products, the protection of ShowerGuard never breaks down and never needs to be reapplied. ShowerGuard permanently seals the surface of the glass for lasting beauty with less maintenance. The invisible protective coating is fused to the surface during the tempering process creating a smooth surface highly resilient to dirt, soap and hard water buildup that dulls and etches ordinary glass. ShowerGuard is backed by a limited lifetime warranty.

*What is ClearShield? ClearShield is an aftermarket product that is applied to the glass after the tempering process. It is sprayed on and becomes a transparent film on the surface of the glass that keeps water, soap scum and bacteria from absorbing into the glass. There is little maintenance when caring for ClearShield, simply apply the AfterCare product every 2 weeks and rinse off (along with regular cleaning). It does carry a 10 year warranty.
