In 1921, Morris Glaser opened Glaser Glass, moving through several locations throughout the downtown area before settling at the current location in the mid-1950's. Morris' two children, Alvin and Doris, showed an interest for the business and started working at the shop fulltime with their father. In the late 1960's, Morris went into semi-retirement but would continue to go to the shop and offer advice and experience. As time passed, Alvin took on more and more responsibility, until he gradually took over running the business. Alvin Glaser was the driving force in the expansion and modernization of Glaser Glass.

Glaser Glass Corp. continues to be a family-owned small business. Jeff and Iris represent the third generation of Glasers working to ensure that Morris' and Alvin's principles of hard work and community service continue into the future.
Glaser Glass Corp., originally known as Morris Glaser Glass Co., has changed over the years. Auto glass was then, as is now, a major part of the business. The business also offers a large range of products and services for the customer's commercial, residential, and marine needs.
Windows and screens are repaired, glass, plastics, and lexans are stocked and cut to size. In addition, plate glass tabletops and mirrors can be custom ordered
Glaser Glass has its own beveling machine and insulated unit machine on the premises. The business continues to expand its product lines and services to accommodate its customer's needs.

Integral to the continued success of Glaser Glass has been its loyal customer base. Morris and Alvin set a standard of delivering to the customer a quality product and personalized customer service.
